Emission System Warranty
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) have implemented regulations that set specific exhaust emission limits. Shindaiwa supports the effort to improve air quality and currently tests and certifies engines with both agencies. Emission certified engines can be identified by an "Important Engine Information" label on the engine.
Certain components on these engines have a separate, two year, emission control system warranty. Details of the emission control system warranty limits are provided in the Emission System Warranty Statement section of the product owner's/operator's manual for an emission certified engine.
